HERE'S THE STORY

This oil painting was made from a beautiful photograph curtisey of Ahmed Al Harthy, owner of MuscArt. He offered his workspace for classes and private lessons with Saud Al Hunaini. I fell in love with this photo. Plus it had an appeal to my husband, Chris, the geologist. He even found me a specimine of rock that had the intricate veining that is so distinctive in the rock outcrop on the right of the painting. (His advice to me: Forget the water -just get the rocks right.) As Saud coached me through this painting he kept teasing me that he’d never pick that photo because it was too hard. Haha. Just Google his name to see the work he does. I’m glad the original sold but the prints are available.
